Meet Max
Elissa has taken Jack out for a play date this morning, which means I have posting duties - so I thought it was about time I introduced one very important member of the family who we haven’t written about before.
So here he is…
meet Max.
Max is who we affectionately know as our ‘other Aspie’. He and Jack are very similar in personality - they both like to be in charge and run the household.
They both have their moments of being extremely cuddly, but have a bit of a fiesty streak (a little hyper) as well.
They both like to think they are very independent, but at the same time, they like to have everything done for them.
Sometimes they drive each other crazy when one races around the house and the other is on full ’sensory alert’, but most often they are very understanding of each other - they seem to sense when the other needs cuddles and as such, Jack’s bed is one of Max’s favourite spots to sleep (right next to his head if he can!).
Max is a very much loved member of the family, and at times has been wonderful at helping to calm Jack - who would have thought?

Hello Max! Great to hear you are doing such a good job with Jack!
Did you know there is a book called All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome.

We have two kitties, Thomas and Percy. Yes, they are named after the beloved trains! Percy is like a therapist and we call her our therapist kitty! She loves the 2 most autstic and sensory seeking kids in the house. She seeks them out and will nothing to do with anyone else. She acts as though she understands what we say too. Cats are wonderful.
Yours looks beautiful.

Beautiful kitty : ) Our last one was gray and white too and I miss her. She just couldn’t adjust to life with toddlers though, so she now lives with a sweet elderly lady living the life of a pampered lap cat. Our current kitty has grown up with small kiddos and she’s a great fit. Know what you mean about them being like family!

I was just going to say there is a bookc called “All Cats Have Aspergers” but I see Casdok beat me to it!. But all I know about the book is the title, I have not read it. However, from the cats I have known in my life, it makes sense. The Prince is interested in cats too, but alas, the Professor is allergic to them or else I’d love to have one.
